Wii rant- shift change

Thanks Jamie but I can take it from here. With my xbox 360 dodging the bullet three times and then finally dying a dignified death, I have had to make use of substitutes. The Wii has been this substitute twice. First time it was great just because of the novelty, but hook it up to a 32inch HDTV and it becomes different beast: an ugly one. We all know that SD sources look awful in HD but why does the Wii take it to another level. My old xbox looks better! Second time round I bought resident evil 4 to play and I nearly collapsed at it's foulness on the Wii. The same happened with Zelda and Quantum of Solace. Did Nintendo think "Mmm we could charge them a bit more for a dvd drive and a better graphics chip. No what we'll do is use a CD drive and get a worse graphics card than the gamecube so we can get more console sales but no one will buy games. Wanna get some sushi now?" I would of happily bought Wii sports separately if it meant I could play fucking DVD's and I didn't have to throw up every time I went on my Wii! Rant to be continued...
